This biopharmaceutical company is a growing player in the life sciences industry. They exist out of 60 people over Europe and the US. Most of them are based in Leuven.
The company is in a commercial stage and they are still developing new products in their R&D department. At this moment, they have 5 products in their clinical pipeline.
Every function in this company has an impact. They demand a level of entrepreneurship and initiative where you can think out of the box to manage new problems which can occur every day.
As QA manager you will be the assistant / right hand of the quality director and work close together with a team of 5 people.
As QA Manager you will be the interface between RA, CMC, Supply Chain, Marketing and customer service in a commercial setting. Next to the internal stakeholders, you will liaise with external contractors, such as CMO's and packaging and labelling companies. For this you have to be communicative, flexible and result oriented.
- Maintain the local quality management system;
- Commercial release of batches;
- Investigations and CAPA's
- Build and implement SOP's;
- Participate in audits;
- Coordinate the necessary people;
- Be able to back-up team members.
Who are you?
You have a background in the life sciences industry, preferably biotechnology or pharmaceuticals in a QA position. Experience in a commercial company is a must, experience with packaging and labelling is a big plus.
You are flexible, communicative, entrepreneurial with a hands-on mindset.
Salary and package
You will work 38-hours per week and will get a market conform salary with the following benefits : insurances, laptop, mobile, 28 holidays, meal vouchers, yearly bonus and net expenses.
